The highly porous technology of the DOT Pots allows us to exclude one more ingredient from the DOT Pot -- drain holes. Without glue or binders, air and water flow freely through the entire container without the need for drain holes. Why reduce air pruning to a few dime-sized holes or narrow slots? great for seedlings These are the perfect size for cuttings, or for an intermediate transplant of peat pellets. Roots can punch through the bottom quite easily, which is good. (As with any container like this, though, remember that the pot itself wicks moisture out of the soil and away from your seedling. Keep an eye on the soil moisture.)
